Hindsight: (n.) Understanding of a situation or event only after it has happened or developed.

Originally a message to my ✨🔮🌙 crew in LA but felt fitting to share. Feel free to take what’s relevant and leave what doesn’t serve you.

I received a couple new decks of Oracle cards last week and as I sat to acquaint myself with each deck, card by card, one card from each deck stood out.

Having spoken with J, I had the crew on my mind so I figured it must’ve been a message for you. As I reviewed and lined up the cards, a beautiful story began to form in my head and so I left them out to simmer. Later in the day, I came back and was shuffling my favorite deck and a card popped out so I decided to flip it over to see if it was relevant to the ones already laid out and it perfectly tied everything together - The Moon.

The moon or some orb of light stands prominently in each card and each with a lone, solitary figure. This was a year of potential enlightenment through going within - an internal journey. As we started out the year, we were in the glow of illusion of what we thought the year would bring. Intuitively, you may have had an inkling and whispers of something more or something missing but there was still the illusion of fear or something else lurking in the shadows. The moon illuminated all the monsters still hiding and repressed in the darkness, all baring their teeth and claws throughout quarantine.

On to the next card we see we were given 52 weeks in this crazy year to create space, gather new tools, and to find your element guiding you to the compass in your heart space directing you to your true north thus allowing you to manipulate time, space, and/or reality. Whatever that means to you, it can be as simple as changing your perspective, accepting that an opposing belief could also be true, or surrendering to the fact that you have no control. This understanding allowed those monsters to be invited in as part of the whole, a mirrored piece of the unconscious shadow.

While having this sort of revelation may inspire you to charge forth towards action, we’re cautioned to be patient. Like with all things in nature, everything happens in cycles and in its own time so allow these newly learned lessons, revelations, and growth time to integrate. Take time to notice how these changes feel in relation to what already is and go from there. This card calls attention to the fog in the painting. Like the crane, continue on towards the light and the direction you know you’re supposed to go while patiently waiting for the fog to burn off and reveal any remaining illusion.

If you’re patient with the integration and continue to search inward in order to project your most authentic self, you’ll be able to reap the benefits of the Cosmic Heart which I take as following your heart to your highest purpose - what you were put on Earth to do. Once you find that purpose, everything in life becomes a moving prayer. A continuous prayer of gratitude, joy, supplication, grief, loss, and love. Constant communication with God/Spirit/the Divine and unwavering trust that if we do what we must for our higher purpose, everything else will be taken care of.
