With a deep curiosity of inner worlds, Kat has followed her path of healing and empathy to helping others find joy in their bodies and lives through breath, movement, self-awareness and compassion.
Suffering from PTSD, anxiety and other health issues including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and adrenal fatigue, she began exploring holistic medicine including Ayurveda and alternate forms of therapy such as EMDR to understand what was happening to her mind, body, and soul.
This type of medicine in conjunction with her yoga practice, allowed her to clear her mind, begin healing, and start listening to the voice within - completely changing everything. Kat hopes to help light the path for others, wherever they might be on their journey.
She completed both, her 200 hr & 300 hr YA certified vinyasa yoga and healing wisdom training with Destiny Eurkus, who has brought the magic of shamanism and flairs of Forrest Yoga through her lineage. Kat has also trained with Lisa Kenyon at Hot Yoga SF, who helped deepen her understanding of physical asana and set her on the enlightened path of meditation.
Kat has finished training to become a Somatic Stress Release practitioner and is working on getting certified in Tantric meditation. Additionally, she is trained in core shamanism, Reiki healing, chakra work, Transcendental Meditation, yoga philosophy, nutrition, yoga nidra, self care and rituals, and most importantly, finding joy!
